Statement from 32BJ:

“32BJ congratulates Pam Harris for her election to the New York State Assembly representing Brooklyn’s 46th District,” said 32BJ President Hector Figueroa. “Pam has a long history of service in the community and we know she will fight in Albany for legislation that supports workers and their families in Brooklyn and throughout the state.

“32BJ congratulates Barry Grodenchik on his election as the new City Council member representing District 23,” said 32BJ President Hector Figueroa. “Barry will be a champion of working families in Queens and across our city.”

32BJ members worked to get out the vote for these candidates, hitting the streets and knocking on doors on Election Day to ensure New York voters would elect the candidates that will be champions for working families.

With more than 145,000 members in 11 states, including 70,000 in New York City, 32BJ SEIU is the largest property service workers union in the country.
