32BJ Congratulates Steve Bellone and Madeline Singas on their Elections

“32BJ congratulates Steve Bellone on his election as the Suffolk County Executive,” said 32BJ President Hector Figueroa. “Steve has stood up to the bitter anti-immigrant sentiment promoted by a number of misguided legislators on Long Island and we believe he will continue to be a strong ally in the fight to protect worker rights, and create a real path to the middle class for workers on Long Island.

“32BJ congratulates Madeline Singas on her election as Nassau District Attorney,” said 32BJ President Hector Figueroa. “As Acting Nassau District Attorney, Madeline has already proven herself a staunch defender of the well-being of Long Island workers and their families.”
