“They have to be aware that the people who work for them are not just statistics, but we are people. The union has allowed us to show that and use our voices.”

~ Michael Greene, 32BJ Member, New York

We Won’t Stop!

32BJ members have been on the frontline of the Fight for $15 since the beginning of the campaign, and with our strong support New York fast food workers won $15 through the Governor’s Wage Board.

But we won’t stop until ALL workers in New York are paid a living wage. We’re teaming up with our SEIU brothers and sisters, fellow labor unions and community allies to send a loud message to Republicans in Albany who want to stop New York workers from getting the $15 wage they need to provide for their families.

That’s why we need you in Albany this Wednesday.

Rally at the State of the State address in Albany
Bus departs outside 32BJ Office, 25 W 18th St, Manhattan
WEDNESDAY, January 13, at 6:30 AM sharp
Bus back to New York leaves Albany at 1:30 PM

Having all workers earn $15 is a major plank of our plan to Raise America with Good Jobs. Lifting all workers up, including the airport workers who are the newest members of 32BJ, further strengthens our union and means better contracts for all 32BJ members in the future. A $15 minimum wage in New York would be a win for all workers!
